How Can I Get A Big Sofa Into A Small Home?

Hi there, I'm Chris from Roger and Chris and I'm here today to answer an important question. I want a really big sofa, but I've got a weird house or a small apartment or a small elevator, how do I make that work?

Well, we have a way of doing this. There are a couple things to keep in mind with sofas. Some of them are easier to get into spaces than others and it doesn't always make sense when you look at the piece of furniture. You might think, "Oh, Chesterfield's "this huge, big bulky piece of furniture," but it's actually not because it's pretty short, particularly when you remove those legs. All of a sudden, you can slide that through any door pretty easily.

If you have a setting where you want a really long sofa. Let's say you want a really long sofa for your basement and you know, "Okay, well. "You know once we get it into the house, "we gotta around the corner, we got to go down "these stairs," and blah, blah, blah, blah. All of a sudden, it becomes difficult to navigate that.

We can build a sofa as two parts. We do it pretty regularly. It's kind of like a sectional, only just doesn't have a bend to it. So if you're trying to figure out, "Hey, can I get a really long sofa in my space?" You probably can. Just talk to us, give us a ring. We'll be able to figure out what the size might work out to be, how we might divide it up.

And we'll also kind of give you some guidance on, is this gonna look good? Because the last thing we want to do is build a piece of furniture, you get it into your home, you put it all together and you look at it and you're like, "Ah, it doesn't look great." Some stuff was translate better to this sort of multi-piece configuration than others. We're here to help you with that decision. But yeah, take your measurements, figure out what size you want, give us a ball park and we can probably guile it in and get pretty close to what you're looking for.

We'd love to keep in touch
