The front yard of the Modern Farmhouse started as a flat square of grass with minimal landscaping. We added hundreds of trees, perennials, cacti, succulents, and flowering vines, not to mention boulders, decomposed granite, a perfect circle of artificial turf, and a rustic fence. Lawn furniture, a painted car port with a crazy striped ceiling, and accessories make these spaces feel like outdoor rooms and give the house massive curb appeal.
