Built to last

Beautiful on the outside. Even better on the inside.

We make our build our furniture from scratch in Hickory, North Carolina, with sturdy all-lumber frames, skilled upholstery, and craftsmanship intended to provide durability and comfort for the long haul.

Our sofas are sturdier, heavier, and more conscientiously crafted than the other brands. Lots of sofas are pretty. Ours are pretty tough, too.

Made in America

English style. North Carolina craftsmanship.

The English roll arm has a long history, but sofas today just aren't built like they used to be. That's why we started Roger + Chris — to create made-to-order pieces with the kind of craftsmanship that's long gone from most factories.

Unlike almost every furniture brand you've seen, we own and operate our own production facilities, build our own frames, and control every step of the manufacturing process to deliver results our team can be proud of.

(Shown: Our frame shop has been in continuous operation for decades. On the back wall are just a fraction of the template pieces we use for hand-cutting each sofa frame. Yes, we use those vintage roller carts every day.)
