From J.B. Martin · Velvet Fabric · 100% acrylic

Woven in South Carolina, this 100% acrylic velvet is solution-dyed for exceptional stain resistance. Designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, it is moisture, mildew, and fade resistant and can be cleaned with a wider range of bleach-based cleaning products, but even a little soap and water will take care of most stains. This plush velvet has a luxurious sheen that catches the light and enhances the lines of any piece of furniture. From JB Martin, producer of fine velvets since 1832, originally in Lyon, France and now for over 100 years in the USA.

Toughness

Toughness indicates wear resistance. On leather, this includes scratch resistance. On fabric, this includes pilling resistance and double-rub rating. More dots = more toughness.

Cleanability

Cleanability indicates how stain-resistant a fabric or leather is. Lines with max cleanability are highly stain-resistant and can safely be cleaned using a wider range of products. More dots = more cleanable.

Fade Protection

Some fabrics and leathers are more protected against bleaching from exposure to UV light. We can help determine if this is a serious issue for your application. More dots = more fade resistant.

Price

This adds 32% to the furniture price. Some fabrics and leathers cost us more. While we don't mark up our materials, pricier lines will add to the cost of your furniture. More dots = higher prices.
