Chaps

Collection of 5 Colors

From Wipelli · Aniline Leather · 100% leather

Chaps is made from fine South American bull hides and tanned to perfection in Italy to create an incredibly soft, welcoming leather. It is aniline dyed with an embossed, buffed, and brushed surface that feels velvety to the touch. The hides are then tumbled to further enhance the suede-like feel and maximize softness. Toughness

Toughness indicates wear resistance. On leather, this includes scratch resistance. On fabric, this includes pilling resistance and double-rub rating. More dots = more toughness.

Cleanability

Cleanability indicates how stain-resistant a fabric or leather is. Lines with max cleanability are highly stain-resistant and can safely be cleaned using a wider range of products. More dots = more cleanable.

Fade Protection

Some fabrics and leathers are more protected against bleaching from exposure to UV light. We can help determine if this is a serious issue for your application. More dots = more fade resistant.

Price

This adds 0% to the furniture price. Some fabrics and leathers cost us more. While we don't mark up our materials, pricier lines will add to the cost of your furniture. More dots = higher prices.

Important note from R+C:

While we strive to provide accurate imagery, remember that materials may vary from swatch photos due to studio lighting, monitor calibration, and dye lot changes. For color-critical use cases, we recommend reviewing a physical swatch.
